The degree program in Catholic Theology is a six-semester postgraduate course that concludes with the academic degree of a licentiate in theology. The aim of the degree program is to enable students to deepen the individual sub-disciplines of Catholic theology in order to acquire specific experience in scientific research. The licentiate qualifies students to take up doctoral studies and to teach in seminaries or comparable institutions.
